    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was invigorating and informative. It was fun and I learned more in that history class than I've learned in any other history class growing up.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new idea on how to study and to take tests. I learned a bunch of new things about Europe and the surrounding continents.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It's really important to study and take your time when learning the information. There's a lot to learn before the AP test and you have to remember a majority of what you have learned.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend AP European History to those who want to become better critical thinkers and step outside of their academic comfort zones.

    Course highlights:

AP European History taught me that history is more than just dates on a timeline. In the span of one year, I learned not only the facts, but also the different perspectives and motivations behind actions that drove consequences. The class taught me how to critically think about events and the ripple effect that still may be felt to this day.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This sounds like a given, but I urge students to actually read the material. It's very dense reading, from a college textbook at that, but having a foundation is imperative to deepening one's understanding of history.
