    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was able to teach me many things I could not even imagine. It opened my eyes and I was able to see this country's dark yet successful history. I was never good at history yet I passed this course with an A thanks to the outstanding detail that brought the topic to life, making me feel as if I lived it.

    Course highlights:

I honestly enjoyed the lectures which gave us a deeper background on the topic. The visuals also helped us better understand the topic itself and would help us do better on the exams. The one thing I enjoyed most of all were the class discussions as some students had questions or outside information about the topic which constantly kept us wanting to know more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students who will be taking or are taking the course is to make sure you do the readings, participate in class, and basically just put in the effort needed to pass the class with an A. Many students may need more hours studying while others require less, but in the end it's up to you whether you pass or fail.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because learning about where our nation's roots truly lie is something very important.

    Course highlights:

The major highlights of this course were the major wars in which the United States had a part in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participation is very important and always remain engaged in what you're learning.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course with Mr. Thomas was not an educational one. He is easily distracted, wastes time doing personal work during class, and does not prepare us for the AP test at all.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Thomas was always lecturing us- when he wasn't off doing other irrelevant work- on World Wars and various presidents. He taught us through his lectures and plenty of random articles written by historical figures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to really learn anything about this course, I suggest reading lots of books from the list of authors that he gives us in the syllabus.
