    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend you take this class only if you have an opening that really has nothing else to go there. It's a really fun class that forces you to look at the world differently, but doesn't contribute very much else academically.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were the days when we would get away from historical philosophers and reading older texts and take time to discuss current topics. We spent nearly two class periods discussing HB2, and talked about a wide variety of different subjects, ranging from political candidates to college to the existence of a supreme being. As for what I learned, well not too terribly much that helps me in life. We learned about the philosophical views of people from hundreds of years ago, which helped me think in different ways, but other than that not much.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep and open mind, and be ready to talk about and defend your ideas every single class. The majority of days were class discussions, and while you ideas will be considered, you will be heavily questioned. This is not out of hate, just trying to make sure that you have thought things through.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is an in-depth look at the different philosophies practiced. The class entails argument and debate.

    Course highlights:

I learned why I have the philosophies that I embrace. It was an in-depth research of myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My study tips were weak in this course. I should have done more writing before the deadlines to keep up.
