    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was unlike any that I have ever taken before. Every time I walked through the doors of my English class I knew I would walk out having a philosophical conversation with my friends about the meaning of life. One day my teacher pulled out a ruler and asked the class “what is this?” We all simply said it was a ruler but she fired back saying it was a stapler. She began to explain how everything in life is subjective and we are living by labels that we are assigned to by society. Every second spent in room 410 filled me with knowledge applicable to my everyday life, from things as simple as how to properly shake someones hand to, life lessons that will carry on with me forever.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me things about life that I would not have expected out of an English course. Although it was a heavy work load and the tests were extreme, I would walk out the doors everyday knowing something new. This class was more than just English, it was filled with life lessons that I will carry with me for as long as I live. From things like learning how to properly shake someones hand to predicting the end of a book based on the first page, this class has pushed my limits and helped me grow as a person.

    Advice for students:

Always study her Quizlet it will help you so much on the tests and it will be reflected in your final grade. Put 100% effort into the homework she checks it all. Lastly pay attention in class, you will never know when the teacher is planning to call on you to answer a question.
