Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course expanded my knowledge on how to write a good paper more than any other one has. Professor Servino always made sure to make time to review each student's writing and give helpful feedback. She not only prepared me for the following English 1020 class, but also for every other class to come.

    Course highlights:

In this class each assignment was a different kind of paper (compare - contrast, persuasive, story telling, etc.), which helped me in so many different ways. When I learned how to write different kind of narratives, it helped me break down tests and study guides better, answer short questions thoroughly, and especially write a killer paper no matter what the question or course is.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take advantage of teacher and writing center help. Listen to what classmates have to say on your paper during peer review, and most of all edit how the professor teaches the class because it ends up being very useful.
