    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr Schelble is great at explaining hard concepts. She is also available for questions. I recommend using the ACS study guide because the ACS final is worth so much of your final grade. Dr Schelble really takes the time to prepare you for the exam and for future exams like the MCAT.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about reactions and their relevance to my life. It was great!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the ACS study guide, attend class lectures and you will do great.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Wieder teaches in a straight-forward manner, and his tests reflect exactly what he presents in class. While organic chemistry is by no means an easy subject, in this class if you attend every class, pay attention, and take notes, it is impossible not to do well. The only grades are the tests, but as long as you were present you will know exactly what will be on the test and how the material will be presented.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights for me was the teacher's jokes. Usually terrible, but also very funny. Another highlight was, of course, having a pretty comprehensive understanding of organic chemistry. I was able to move onto biochemistry and take with me the knowledge I learned, which has helped me achieve a deeper understanding of the molecular world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS! I cannot stress this enough. The tests mimic what he says, sometimes exactly. If you pay attention and take notes, you should be fine.
