    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Schatz is an awesome teacher and I would recommend any of his classes. He taught me so much useful information in only a semester that I will be able to carry on.

    Course highlights:

You get to learn about why peoples actions are the way they are in social situations. Why people behave the way that they do by themselves versus around others

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All of his tests are essays so make sure you know what your talking about. Be as detailed as possible, read/follow the directions carefully and include as many examples.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He is literally the best professor I have ever had, he constantly had examples of how to apply what we were learning and had humor as well. He is a amazing, intelligent person and all of his classes are amazing

    Course highlights:

I learned why people do what they do in social gatherings, public areas and in conversations. I learned why the brain tendencies make people act and say the things that they do in different situations. I also learned ways to better myself and avoid the initial negative thoughts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The exams are always essays so make sure to follow the instructions, read the entire question and answer with as much detail and examples as you can. He grades very tough so make sure you know what you're talking about. When taking notes be sure to write as much down as you can so the exams are easier. He does not use power point so always go to class, it is always lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class opened up my mind to understanding many behaviors of people and my own. It is a fun class where social attitutes are discussed and learned about. We study cases in which experimenters try their expectactions on controlled groups. Fascinating results.

    Course highlights:

I learned that people tend to feel comfortable when they have some control over their life, the opposite makes us get into a dissonant zone from which we will try to find a way out. That is why so many times we find ourselves stressing out.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to take as many notes as possible. Nnotes are important but also accompany them with real life situations. Understand the terminology to be able to apply it instead of just memorizing definitions.
