Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend Public Speaking with Anne Stanwick. She was very helpful and described each assignment thoroughly. She helped guide each and everyone of us into the right direction and always gave us helpful feedback.

    Course highlights:

I, as an individual, was very afraid of speaking in front of people. I had to practice a little more just because I had to make sure that I was sure about what I was going to speak about. I learned that speaking in front of a classroom isn't as difficult as I had thought it was. Having Ms. Stanwick guide me through the right direction and having her give me helpful feedback was always good.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You do need to get on top of the assignments as preparing for a speech is not easy work. There are many steps that one needs to take to make sure that they have a good speech. Always make sure that you have the drafts ready for revisions from teachers to see what you should fix before giving the final speech. Make sure that you practice is one of my best advice because not being prepared and giving reading the entire speech off the notecards makes it evident that you didn't practice.
