Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Hancock is a very good teacher since he explains things so well, and also surprisingly enough the note taking really helps you remember all the information. He is very giving with homework's and extra credit, and he drops your lowest test grade. He is a great teacher

    Course highlights:

You gain a really good understanding of bonds, specifically those going into the dna and rna chains. You also get a thorough understanding and the roles of glucose, starch, and chromosomes. You also get a good understanding of DNA and how it is passed down.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to your notes, and pay attention to his explanations. The notes really hold the key to what is in the exams, and often they are more explanatory than the textbook.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the class because I think it is a great way to get the basic knowledge of biology for the rest of the upper division classes. The professor goes into detail about the different processes such as photosynthesis, kreb cycle, and fermentation.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about DNA and RNA and the way the cells work in our body.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I think it is important to record the lectures, read before class, and rewrite all your notes.
