Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course definitely helps prepare students for college. Many of my college friends have explained to me the influence this class has had. In high school, it was just another class. Now that it's time to apply the knowledge gained, it's worth gold.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in this class that stuck with me. From learning the grammar rules to writing the 15 page essays, my life has been enlightened and simpler for it. I can now apply my knowledge for myself and also help my peers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is a must take! I would definitely recommend for all students going into their senior year, it really does help prepare everyone for college courses.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Bridges is a wonderful teacher! She cares about her students, and really wants us to learn. She will work with you to help you understand, and she definitely is a knowledgeable. She explains in ways that almost all students understand. You get a lot of work done, you learn a lot, and she makes you laugh too.

    Course highlights:

She doesn't just teach you about English and grammar rules. I have learned a lot about ways to make college classes easier. My activity that we have done was grading our own papers. The process of grading them effectively can take almost an hour, but I was shocked to find that the very intense, thorough process made my papers easy to read and interesting. I wrote better essays, and I am still learning so much.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get behind! She may give a lot of homework, but it is all helpful. You really will use the information you study. Don't skip doing the rough draft, especially in essays. You will regret not checking your papers before grading them.
