    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is not your average mathematics class. I highly suggest this for those who want a challenge in math. A new lesson is taught every day so it's quite fast paced which I feel will be beneficial after high school. The teacher has different methods of teaching which makes more difficult concepts easier to grasp as well as different systems with quizzes and tests that I feel push students to work harder.

    Course highlights:

I learned to manage my time better, work better under pressure as well as under a time limit.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework. Do not lag on assignments. Do not be afraid to ask for help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend AP Calculus for anyone looking for a challenge. It takes time and patience to learn, but it makes you feel really good about yourself in the end.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the year I learned to study for math, solve hard problems in a short period of time, and to have fun while doing it all.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To become successful in this class, all you need to do is try. The concepts in calculus are very easy, and it's mostly the simple algebra that messe you up. As long as you give it your all, you won't fail.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Lundstrom's a great teacher, like really great. Plus, he encourages a good work ethic by use of his unique set of rules.

    Course highlights:

I learned to always do my homework the night it was due. I also learned to never trust anyone, because they'll turn you into Lundstrom or pick on you for challenges quicker than you can say "FDC".

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to Mr. Lundstrom. Seriously. No one does, and it comes back to bite you. Study, study, study, and study the ways he tells you too, because chances are, he's been teaching calculus for longer than you've been alive, so he knows what's up. Also, please, for the love of God and all that is holy, do your homework. Make sure you did all the pages. Try to look calm during challenges, maybe read a book or look aloof. If you go get called up for challenges, keep your cool, and don't forget what you've hopefully been studying. Also, try not to be absent.
