This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I highly recommend students to take AP Calculus AB because it explains how math occurs around us daily. Many students cannot comprehend how some math concepts can be applied in real life. However, this math class will inform students on how calculus shapes our modern economy, infrastructure, and science. In addition, students learn how to think differently to approach math problems. This can be applied to solve real life situations.
Course highlights:
I learned how to think differently to approach a problem because sometimes, a single method cannot help solve it. Moreover, I learned how calculus can be applied to different aspects of life around us. I was able to understand how motion and rates were analyzed.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Students should always read a section ahead before learning it because this will help students attain a brief idea on the topic. In addition, students who develop questions by reading the section can ask their teacher or other classmates the following day.
