    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It synthesizes all the courses from previous mathematics and teaches you how to apply mathematics into the real world. You will return to previous concepts from Algebra and Trigonometry, and learn their applications.

    Course highlights:

In the course, there are opportunities to participate and earn extra credit. This allows for a competitive and engaging work environment. Even if you underperformed for a test, you have the opportunity to demonstrate your comprehension in class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It requires you stay committed to doing the homework on a nightly basis, but you'll find that you can do better on tests with the spaced-repetition of practicing your calculus every night. In fact, you will find that the highest performing students are students to who don't study or practice the night before, but doing it every night. It is in doing the assignments that you notice the nuances between problems and truly learn the concepts.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even though I struggled immensely in this class because I have a hard time in grasping mathematical concepts, this class definitely will prepare you for college. The rigor and discipline that you will go through will definitely train your mindset.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of my course was the times I attended tutoring when I struggled and needed help. The individualized attention that was given really allows you to ask concept and clarification questions that you may not be able to ask in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to ask questions and be proactive in seeking for help when is needed. Do not procrastinate and make sure to read ahead before the teacher begins to lecture.
