    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course provides vital information to the establishment of our country and with current politics, I find that this course is particularly important in understanding how American culture and politics has come to be.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course is the World War II unit because students are able to gain insight into the politics around the war as well as the experiences of soldiers on the front lines. Debates become extremely important for this time frame because of the morality issues from all major powers before, during, and after the war.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that students taking this course take brief notes while reading the chapters, which are helpful for in-class debates and studying for tests and quizzes. Notes are very helpful when preparing for the AP test because lots of the information from first quarter is easily forgotten.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class, although challenging, was so much fun. Rather than reading the entire time, we had highly intellectual discussions and debates on the events that we were studying. However, if you do not like history and are a very slow reader, this class is probably not for you.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of analytical skills through discussing American foreign and domestic policy. I also became very good at writing essays in half an hour. Of course, I now have fairly thorough knowledge of American history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely be a fast reader that comprehends what you read. Be able to handle time-pressured writing and thinking, because all of the tests are timed for exactly one minute per question. and modeled after the AP Exam.

    Course highlights:

the highlights of this coerce where we played history games to study for test. we I learned about the history of the world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend always studying and paying attention to the legsure that he gives because it will help you on your tests and quizzes.
