Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class online because it wasn't offered during the spring at my university, and I don't regret it! I highly recommend taking this course with this professor if you need 4 credits of microbio. The only downside is that the lab kit and microscope are very expensive.

    Course highlights:

The coolest thing about this course is that I now have a lab kit and microscope to look at just about anything with. I learned a lot about food borne illnesses, what causes diseases and how, and all around just generally useful information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My tip to you is don't register if money is tight. I paid about $450 for the lab kit and microscope, and that doesn't include the tuition for the class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it has allowed me to take a lab course from home. This course has been very intriguing and the professor is always there to help if needed.

    Course highlights:

In this course we used Labpaq to conduct our labs. They send you a box full of lab equipment, what's better than your own lab equipment to play with? I was able to learn all about motility from home, which was helpful because of my busy schedule.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you keep up on the labs, they are very important and if you do not follow directions you may end up with a zero for that lab. Typically, the professor will let you fix your mistake which is to have a specific item in your pictures.
