    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course IF YOU ARE A SERIOUSLY DRIVEN ACADEMIC STUDENT. Taking this class will prepare you for college because it is HARD. It will be stressful and time consuming and mastering the material will be difficult. However, taking this class will help you grow as a student. Thus, if you plan on going to a 4-year college and think you could use some practice, i would highly recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course doesn't come until its over and you realize how much you've grown as a student. Realizing that made it worth it for me because I learned how to better manage my time and and organize my notes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you sing up be serious about it. Nothing is worse then having to sit through a class you don't care about. Your time would be better spent taking something else.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend AP Psych because of the fascinating material, incredible teacher, and learned ability to analyze human emotion. This class did not feel repetitive, mundane, or tiresome; but rather, interesting and applicable to real life situations. Long sets up the class room for discussion and energetic lectures that keep students invested in the content.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course is different for each student depending on what facet of psychology is most interesting to the individual student. I personally enjoyed the biology aspect that focused on the physiological contributions and reactions to emotional occurrences. The last day of the term is also a highlight, as Long carries out a routine goodbye for the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will love this class! Don't be discouraged by the nightly book work which is unbearable in other classes. Reading the Psychology text book did not feel like homework due to the fascinating content of the subject. Also, try to get to know Jason, because he's a pretty awesome guy!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Jason, for that is what he asks his student to call him, is an astounding teacher! What sets him apart from most other faculty is his ability to make, or rather, inspire, his students to think independently, and outside the box; to see there is more than just what is laid in front of you in the form of a textbook or chrome book.

    Course highlights:

The experiments were definitely a highlight because of the hands-on learning we were allowed to undergo. In my option, doing rather than just sitting and being told, is much more effective, as well as fun!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study for the tests; vocabulary is key in psychology because there is so much of it! Also be prepared to learn that, especially in a subject such as this, opinions are necessary, and not just the cold, hard facts that are useful in other subjects such as Biology or Physics. Open your mind!
