Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course, as it is fun and engaging! I found that I am more knowledgeable after taking this class, and my writing is more effective. Mr. Benbenek makes it fun with games and team challanges.

    Course highlights:

I learned about logical fallacies, stems of hundreds of words, and how to properly form professional arguments. Our strategy games and puzzles made me think more about a concept and helped me to expand the way that I approach problems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

100% study the stems we are tested on, and familiarize yourself with them over the week, not all at once. We do not do a lot of reading, so if that's what you expect from this course, choose something else. We mainly focus on the why and how of the structure, and interpret the voice of our authors. There is lots of timed AP test prep and essays, which can be expected from any juinor year class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was phenomenal! He broke down everything so it was understandable. I've never learned so much from one teacher and understood the subject matter as well in any previous classes.

    Course highlights:

The books we read in class were great, his class discussions really made sense. I felt really prepared for the AP test and ended up getting a five after all the essay and MC prep in class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best and actually do the reading, just sparknoting won't cut it and you'll enjoy it so much more if you actyally do read.
