    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Pitney is a thorough lecturer with real world experience so you know he has a greater understanding of American government than most, having worked in it.

    Course highlights:

It was tough but so very worth it. We learned so much about a foreigner's take on early America in Tocqueville's "Democracy in America" but also an in-depth look at a fundamental US document in "Our Declaration" by Danielle Allen.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the blogs, ALWAYS do you course readings, ask questions in class, work with your classmates to study and get a deeper understanding, have fun!
