    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The reason that I would recommend nursing essentials for the pathway is that you learn from this. Part of the class required an internship at the hospital and not only did I get hands on learning but I also felt what it was to be a RN. I have more respect for them if anything. Being at the hospital reminded me why I went into the health academy in the first place.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was definitely getting to go out and follow a nurse. Sometimes I would be in the emergency room and other times I was in the OBGYN department. Both were really cool. I learned how nurses handle crazy or drunk patients when I was in the emergency room. I also got to clean rooms, take vitals, and practice my nursing essentials.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need a good attitude if you want to enjoy this class. If you're in the academy then you'll want to get this. The hands on experience is something you cannot pass up. The easiest way to keep up with the nurses and doctors you may encounter is to read the book.
