Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a great professor. Makes himself available for help and very minimal work outside of class mostly reading, but be ready to prove you know your stuff in class. Doesn't make things difficult. Very pleasant guy. Take his class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot and excelled because of the teacher.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Acknowledge the guy. He likes it when people try to have conversations with him and reply to his emails. He is friendly and responds to that as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Besides fulfilling a general education (GE) requirement, Principles of Economics is pretty informative and helpful to any budding student who want to learn a bit more about their finances and how to manage it.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn what was economics, how its used in every day life, and how it concerns everyone. The textbook is a bit dry (no pictures for my visual learners, but lote of graphs), but Ruane was able to simplify and expand on all the touched subjects easily.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do NOT slack off in your readings! Take lote of notes during the lecture, especially when the professor explains something you had trouble with. Do not be afraid to ask questions (Ruane is very enthusiastic and engaging). It also helps if you have a study partner or friend in BA110 to help you through it.

I would definitely recommend him! Chief is a very supportive and helpful instructor. Always lending a helping hand!

    Course highlights:

What I love the most is when I learned about GDPs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be listening to his lectures, and be jotting down notes and you'll pass the course with an A!
