Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although Mr. Nigro no longer is a teacher at Rocky, I believe that this class is very important to take throughout your high school career. By learning more about science, you are able to understand things about the world around you more clearly. Plus, we are able to get CU credits for it so it will not be necessary to take this course in college.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about each periodic table element, mols, and mixtures. You do labs constantly that help you to better understand the class content and have a feel for what labs are like.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do homework almost every night. I know some people had a lot of issues retaining the material so take notes and always work on what you learned that night, especially if you do not completely understand it! The class moves fast, there is a lot of material to learn. There is also a lot of math involved with this course, so be prepared for that!
