    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me grow as a writer by providing writing skills and techniques that now use every time I write an essay or story. Writing skills are something everyone should have, as writing is a major form of communication.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge on how to analyze difficult passages while writing the significance among them. This has been extremely helpful while moving in senior literature because we have to annotate. Annotations are much easier since I have the ability to understand difficult prices of text.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind! If you fall behind, good luck catching up and turning in quality work. I would definitely not miss class either. One day I was sick and I stayed home, but I did go to AP English because I knew it would be hard to catch up if I did not.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to English lovers! It covers many classical books such as. The Girl with the Pearl Earring. It's challenging but it helps you achieve things that you wouldn't even have thought of doing. As for me, it was being able to give a five minute speech in front of the class. scary but totally satisfying at the end!

    Course highlights:

Reading classical books and reading different types of poetry as well as analyzing it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it if you love writing and reading and being challenged in the both areas.
