    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course as a college level English class in a high school setting. I found this class difficult and challenging but in the best way. So I would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in a class with a higher difficulty level that is in turn, rewarding.

    Course highlights:

Through this class, I have learned multiple new ways to analyze and tear into texts, as well as how to analyze multiple texts at the same time. This class has taught me that there is more than one way to tear apart a text outside of analyzing style or character choices. It has also taught me ways to become a better writer, giving me tools to make analysis stronger.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in this class, time management is key. Keep track of all assignments and make sure all reading is done. Another key would be to participate in group discussion, the more comments put in and questions asked, the better a text will be understood.
