    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you will learn about what characterizes a living organism through both book work and hands-on dissection. Also, Mrs. Spock is very kind and cares about her students succeeding, so you can always ask questions when you don't understand something.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about different types of living things, and what characteristics they have that differentiate them from non-living things. The end of semester final was also fun because we got to go to the zoo and research a certain animal.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students considering this course is to be prepared for constant homework that will expand your mind and to pay attention during dissections.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class due to the fact that Mrs. Derting does an amazing job at teaching all students the basics in chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course come from the labs that we conduct. My favorite was during halloween. We were studying combustion reactions and to test this, we blew up pumpkins.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind. Do chapter problems before Mrs. Derting goes over them in class. If you are struggling, reach out to Mrs. Derting. She is very helpful and is willing to give one on one lessons.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a good course but science just isn't my best subject.

    Course highlights:

It has helped me have a better understanding of the material and how I can learn it better.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and pay attention in class. Also be prepared for pop quizzes.
