Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to any student who wants to discover what is happening in the world at this instant. It for those who want to understand why America and other nations do what they do.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning about extremists such as ISIS and Syrian rebels. We learned why these two groups are becoming such an issue and the background of how they started. We also learned of the Russian gulags, which many people have no idea what these even are or how many people were killed by Stalin. This class could bring you close to tears because some parts of history are brutal.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be able to accept your classmates views on subjects even if they are completely different from yours. This class is filled with discussion and books to read at home. If you are not interested in reading and discussing then I would consider a different course. If you want to understand the world and receive an enriched view of everything happening around you than I would completely recommend to take this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class exhibits the issues going on in the world to an extent. Americans are usually taught only about their own country and the far back history of others. This course gives the students the opportunity to learn about the differences of all the countries and civilizations making up our world. It gives you a more broadened look on the Middle East as well, which is our world's biggest issue at the moment.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was receiving the intelligence needed to participate in the election. Most people begin going into the election when they are 18 and have absolutely no idea what they are doing. This class gives you unbiased information that you specifically need to make educated decisions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The only advice I would give about this course is to keep an open mind. Corruption is everywhere and everyone reads it differently. It is amazing to see what some people came up with and the information they use to support their claim.
