    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because this class helps students better understand different writing styles and what these specific writing styles say about the authors purpose.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be the discussions regarding the text that you would be reading because the teachers make sure you understand what techniques are being used and how this affects the overall message and purpose.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage your time well because you will probably receive many assignments at a time and the more efficient you are with your work the less stressed out you will be with the bigger assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class heavily improved my writing ability and exposed me to a wide variety of American literature classics. If I hadn't have taken this class, I wouldn't have probably picked up certain pieces of literature, so I'm glad I took the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was the unit on American Satire. We read "Catch-22" in class and it was very amusing and insightful. I thoroughly enjoyed the reading material presented to me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you keep up with the assigned readings and you'll be fine. The most important part of this class is understanding the reading material and being able to articulate the meanings in essay format.
