    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it not only teaches about language and grammar, but it also teaches students practical writing tips that they may need in life. In this class, a student will learn about how to make connections between books written years ago and today. This allows the student to have an open mind and see into the past and maybe even the future.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was being able to write good papers in a short amount of time. I was able to go from barely being able to write 2 pages in a class period to writing 3-4 pages in a class period. I learned that even though I didn't have all the tools to be a good writer at the beginning of the semester, a person can easily receive those skills through practice.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind. Don't worry about writing long papers in a short amount of time because this class is about building your writing skills. If you aren't necessarily a great writer, you can work to get better at writing during this course. Don't let that stop you from taking it!
