    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great way to advance your knowledge in chemistry and prepares you for college courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned conceptual chemistry along with math strategies. This course was fun and was very interactive through lots of labs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask for help when confused this subject can get tricky. Take time at home to really go over everything.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because schools nowadays are using common core, something that current high school students are failing in because they weren't built on this method of learning. You have thousands of students who genuinely showed an interest in math, but are now failing it because their brains are not adjusting to this new curriculum. In this Chemistry course, these students, like myself, can re-experience their enjoyment of math because Chemistry is untouched by common core. It uses the basic math formulas and equations that we were all taught in elementary school and fell in love with. It also opens up into a whole field of different science and medical careers that students are becoming more and more interested in lately. This class helps you grasp an understanding of what you want to do in life, and is also very enjoyable for all of the math lovers out there!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be learning how to convert one unit to a different unit (because this skill is necessary for life), and learning how to balance a chemical equation. You also get to participate in really exciting labs like the flame test lab and, my personal favorite, the smore making lab.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this class if you are interested in going into a career that involves science or if you are really passionate about math and science, otherwise this course can be stressful.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it wasn't too difficult and it was quite interesting to learn about; for me anyway. I tend to like subjects that include math, and chemistry happens to be one of those subjects

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be learning how to understand and read the periodic table, as well as partake in fun labs.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say if you like math, then definitely take chemistry. The math is fairly simple and easy to pick up on if you have a good teacher.
