    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There is quite a bit of critical thinking involved in this class. A quote we have on the classroom wall reads: "Your writing is only as good as your thinking." I believe this to be true. There is ample discussion on current issues both nationally and internationally, although the debates are never biased. This course gets you thinking and also allows you to discover how your peers think and feel as well. All discussions are conductive.

    Course highlights:

The highlights in this class, for me, are the emphasis on critical thinking which in turn leads to improved writing. By actively exercising meta-cognition on the topics we discuss, I have more substance to write about. More ideas and thoughts percolate as I write.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class with an open mind.
