    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is such a warm and exciting class. From aspects to a wonderful teacher to smart students surrounding you. Though Ap Government was a tough class with a lot of material, don't feel ashamed for the teacher will always try to help you understand anything. I just wish I took more advantage of it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a few different ways of studying for this class was challenging and it was definitely a lot of work. I found that learning among a small group of students is very beneficial for you receive different point-of-views, that being your fellow peers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must set aside at least an hour or two of studying time for this class every day. It is not so much just memorizing key terms or vocabulary, because that falls under the short-term memory and just forget about it months later. It is really important to go through every single term you come across and to add it to the pile of words to know by heart. You are doing yourself a favor if you know the terms by heart, for the material and all the side connections will be easier to understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Government opens a new perspective on the government. At first, I avoided the topics of politics, but AP Gov taught me insights and functions of the government that were interesting.

The highlight of this course was learning how important individuals are to the society. People make up the democracy and the function of the government and how individual can impact the nation is eye-opening.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learning about government can be complicated. Absorb the information carefully and build a solid foundation on the amendments and the Constitution. Any information beyond that will be make sense if you have that foundation.
