Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Heth is one of the best and most memorable professors I have ever had. His joy for life and teaching are infectious and he makes the material come to life. I remember little from college but his passion and care for me as a student touched me deeply.

    Course highlights:

The biggest take away from this course is an overall better understanding of the Bible. It’s such a key part of our lives and I definitely took it for granted. I learned to appreciate the academic aspects of the text, and I approach it in an entirely new and more thorough way since taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get to know Dr. Heth! Speak out in class, ask quetions, go to office hours. He has such joy for you as a student and for the topic he will be happy to help you in anyway he can. Take advantage of the inspiration that he brings to the table.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Magee is one of those professors that cares about way more than just his curriculum. He was invested not only in the education of students, but also the success.

    Course highlights:

I really learned a lot when taking this course. I was challenged but I was also confident in my abilities. The highlights of this course were the every day lessons we learned. Dr. Magee knew how to relate situations from centuries ago to our everyday lives.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading. That alone can help you maintain a successful grade. Really focus on the details, because every little thing matters. Go into class with an open mind and enthusiasm.
