Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There is a ton of content, so be prepared. Smith has only given us grades for reading the Tanakh and exams over the material. I've thought it was dry, but it pays to pay attention.

    Course highlights:

I enjoy talking of OT theology but the history bores me personally. I learned lots of useful things that have challenged and encouraged my faith though. For that, I am grateful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best to keep up on the reading and listen in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course not only because it is a requirement but also because it is so interesting and insightful. You get to learn so much about the old testament and it truly is amazing.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the tests. They truly challenged your thinking and the way you understood the material. I learned so much, including that it is okay to fail. This is a challenging course and it really taught to work harder.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Really read the course notes. Pay attention in class and take good notes. Anything the professor says could end up on the test. Remember that everyone struggles in the class and that your are not alone. Push through and make yourself better.
