    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It covers your history requirement and an overlay course requirement. Dr. Parks is a very smart woman and loves the midevil times, so she is very knowledgeable of the material.

    Course highlights:

Even though it was a history class, you aren't forced to memorize dates or order of events. The professor teaches the class as if shes telling you a story about how the civilizations of the world were formed. It is interesting and you will actually remember the info.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the sources, she will want to discuss those in class and will ask questions. Also the sources are used in the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was terribly boring and the teacher gave a difficult work load for a first year seminar.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the videos we would watch and to be completely honest, I didn't learn a whole hell of a lot.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I wouldn't take it but if you do, don't buy the books
