This course gives background knowledge about what athletic training is and how it came to be a profession, it is a great course for anyone interested in learning about injuries and rehabilitation programs.
From taking this course I have learned how to identify injuries as well as how to assess and treat them. I also learned the different forms of treatment and how to construct rehabilitation programs for numerous injuries.

To succeed in this course it is important that you take notes and are attentive during lectures. Also, if you ever have any questions make sure to raise your hand and get them answered right away. To study for this course make sure to look over the notes, take extra notes other than what is on the lecture, and do some outside research on the topics being discussed.
