    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It can be a hard course if you don't excel in math but it is essential for later classes

    Course highlights:

I learned how to not only understand stats and what they mean in a research paper, but I also learned how to figure it out myself. This class taught me valuable equations or ways of analyzing different statistical data.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the chapter. Ask questions if you don't understand, right away either during lecture or lab and not later therefore the information is still fresh. Take time to do the practice problems for the exams and homework. Be thorough. Go slow. Double check your math for small errors.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a great course for learning about the importance of statistics for psychological purposes. It was challenging but I learned a lot there. I even became the class TA for the lab portion of this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use the program SPSS, which is extremely important for psychologists conducting research.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you need to utilize your resources in the class TA and go to office hours if you don't understand something.
