Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class taught me how to work past all the unnecessary information to find the truly valuable facts of history. It also gave me plenty of random facts that I use in conversations all the time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class for me were being able to discuss historical events with others in a context that we all understood. I'm definitely a "history buff," but so many people do well in the class because it's all explained thoroughly and not just information put out in the open.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the work! Don't expect to do well just by paying attention in class, you have to do everything outside of class as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was an incredibly fun class, and I learned so much. The only set-backs were the outlines.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about the history and cultures of our world. We used Star Wars references to help us remember the Roman Empire and awesome songs for people such as Genghis Kahn and Rasputin.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When completing the outlines, don't write down every single word you read; rather read a section and then decide what information is important to write down.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was extremely interesting, and Mr. O'Donnell is an extremely delightful teacher, and he was very easy to learn from.

    Course highlights:

This class isn't about people and events that happened as much as it is about finding connections between them across centuries of history. It was quite fascinating to me to find how similar historical events could be despite that they took place a multitude of years apart.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

For making chapter outlines, do not write down every single piece of information that is in the book. Write down the most important things, and use symbols so that it is faster to write information down. Although the outlines can take a while to complete, the amount of fun and amazing things learned in class make the outlines worth it.
