    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In Calculus AB, it really is exciting when you finally grasp one of the concepts and realize that you actually understand it, because everything in that class builds on itself. Once you understand one thing, everything else begins to make sense and it is amazing!

    Course highlights:

I really learned to love math as I came to do more than just know how to do the problem, I came to understand why how I solved the problem worked.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand the concept behind the work, not just the process or you will become very lost, and the concept is guaranteed to be brought back up again later, and more complicated.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Just to be clear, this is a DIFFICULT course. It is very fast paced and challenging, so if you do not enjoy math, don't take it. However, the difficulty of this course does help prepare you for college and it helps condition your brain. Also, the teacher makes it fun and interesting, so I would recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

Calculus Cookie Friday, was the definite highlight of this course! I did actually learn some pretty cool stuff, but nothing as cool as how many cookies I could eat before feeling sick.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this course if you enjoy math. I cannot stress enough how important it is to actually like what you are doing! It will seem so much more difficult if you don't. Also, ALWAYS do the homework! Even if it is not required, DO IT!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was Calculus cookie friday. I learned that Calculus can be made easier and less stressful if you have a cookie to munch on!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to pay attention and make sure to take good notes.
