Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Jacob Morris effectively provides information to his students through his personality, his lectures, and his one-on-one conversations with his students. He is very thorough on his powerpoints, and allows students to ask questions during lecture times. He encourages students to do research on topics that interest them by assigning "Weekly Medical News" every week. He is a wonderful teacher, and will definitely assist a student who needs aid in his classroom, whether it be on homework or personal advice.

    Course highlights:

I've gained knowledge on all parts of the body. We learn new content daily which gives an advantage to those wanting to continue in the medical field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always have a note pad ready and take notes. This class is not difficult, however if you slack, you will not pass the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Maybe I just like it because I am a science and biology nerd, but the class overall is immensely fascinating. The projects are even more fun than the knowledge itself. After taking this class, you will never look at life the same way again!

    Course highlights:

The highlights would probably be the projects and the teacher. I couldn't begin to reiterate all the awesome things I've learned. Most facts were hiding in plain sight, but I never would have seen them on my own. My favorite part would have to be discussing the anatomy of the brain and the neurons. Just breath taking with the complexity of our life forms.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE NOTES! If you keep up with your work like you are supposed to, you will do great! It's really as easy as that!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to a student who wants to continue in the medical field. You are able to join HOSA and compete in a variety of events. We visited almost every office in Northwest Arkansas, and observed what the dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants would do during a procedure.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was visiting the dental offices and observing the procedures. We learned how to inject anesthesia properly by using oranges, how to properly floss our teeth, and sterilize dental instruments.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Although the class does seem intimidating at first, if you are determined and motivated to study, the class will be very easy. Luckily, I was able to pass the year with an A because you have to go to all of the Dental Observations and study hard for the exams and semester exams, however the class is very fun!
