Not too easy. Not too difficult.

It is a very fun and interesting class, especially you love politics and are interested in government.

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the required text and that you take notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd highly recommend taking this course because it actively compares every type of government both in terms and in the real world. It gives you a better understanding of how the world is governed as well as how each countries government affects another.

    Course highlights:

I learned that the U.S. is pretty lucky to have a democratic government where it's people have a choice in legislature whereas in other countries, such as Russia or China, the people have little to no choice in what happens in there government, not even who runs it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The handouts are your ultimate guides to both the unit tests and the AP exam. Make sure to study the curriculum to obtain the information, don't just study to pass the nearest test because you won't remember everything.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it allowed me to learn about how each branch of government works. I learned more about the government in one year than I had during the rest of my life. It helped me understand the importance of being involved with the government whether it be by voting or running for a position in government. I recommend this class to anyone who is interested in learning more about the government.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all three branches of government and how they worked. I learned how the voting system works and why it is important to vote. I also learned about the constitution and I now know why it is important to know what it says. I also learned about both the democratic and republican views on government. It is good to be well informed about both sides. I also learned about our country's history which was extremely interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell the students that it's very important to take good notes over the book and to make sure they read the book well. The tests are very important and if they study for them they should be able to pass the test. I did all of those things and I made a five of the AP exam.
