    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it truly introduced me to the world in the past and how I can use the mistakes that we as the human race have made to improve our future.

    Course highlights:

The course taught me tons of beneficial information about countries around the world, and it influenced me to care about how I am capable of changing the world. Mr. O'Hair is an engaged and enthusiastic teacher who really drills this idea into the minds of his students. While the class was tough and somewhat time consuming, I really believe it was worth it for me to take.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class! Be sure to do all the homework and study hard for tests, because if you blow off assignments, you will definitely not do nearly as well in the class. This class does not assign busy work; all the homework contains vital information and acts as a learning opportunity every day, but that is only if you do the work. Finally, use study groups. Whether they are offered as a class function or something you need to get a group together for, it is worth it and will seriously pay off.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I reccomend this course because it's focus on reading teaches a student valuable study skills that transfer over to other classes, allowing one to better become accustomed to large quantities of reading for studying course material.

    Course highlights:

The teacher was fantastic, but also it gave me a chance to challenge myself intellectually as well as learn some valuable study skills I will utilize for the rest of my life without a doubt.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepaed to read and study more than you normally do, this course is heavily reliant on the ability to read and memorize information at home. This is perhaps even more important than the lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

European History is a great course, filled with interesting twists in the story of how the world has come to be today. It will come in use if you were to travel as well.

    Course highlights:

I learned how influential one individual could be. How a culture could be formed, how a certain ethnic group is affected by the actions of another.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up, the elevator to success is down, so you have to take the stairs. One step at a time and you will reach the top.
