    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Whether you know you're going into the medical field or something dealing with biology, this is a great class. It teaches you great study skills and allows you to get a feel for college level material. This class also allows students to get experience with basic experiments and lab tools. These skills are vital for any science course in college.

    Course highlights:

The best thing about this class is that you're learning about your own body. You're learning how you work and all the intricate processes that keep you alive on a daily basis. It teaches you about the plants and animals and biological processes outside of you as well. It gives you a sense of belonging when you can really understand what kind of world you belong to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions! Mr. Meredith, the teacher of this course, loves this material more than anyone. He offers lots of time for study sessions. Take him up on his offer! You get exactly what you put into this class. As long as you ask questions when you don't understand something, study outside of class, and pay attention, you'll do well.
