    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a challenging class that will test your memorization skills as well as your math skills. Even though that there is a very likely chance you will not pass with an A, it is always good to challenge yourself especially if your not good with memorization or math. Practice makes perfect.

    Course highlights:

I have learned what some of the elements on the periodic table and stoichiometry. Even though you may not need to use these in the real world if your not pursuing a career in chemistry, it is always rewarding to learn something new and challenging.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not slack off because you will quickly regret it. Once you fall behind in Chemistry class it is difficult to catch up. If you don't understand something then ask the teacher. It is hard to do good on a test or final when you don't fully understand the concepts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend that you take Chemistry with Mr. Murphy. Even though Chemistry may be hard to understand and comprehend, taking good notes and making flashcards makes understanding the class and process easier. Also, it makes you feel smart when you can name off the elements.

    Course highlights:

I learned all of the elements, and the chemical compounds. The highlights of that class to me, was that even though it took me awhile to understand what I was doing, when I did, I felt so accomplished!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take Chemistry, and make sure that you are ready for the work. Be ready for the fact that the teacher will be moving very fast and will not stop unless you ask them to. When taking the class, make sure you will have time after school/class to study everyday to make sure you remember what was taught during class.
