    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Along with learning about all of the countries in the world, the Cultural Geography class I took with Ms. Anderson included Modeled United Nations, MUN.

    Course highlights:

It was extremely enlightening not to simply memorize all the countries locations and capitols, which we did, but to also connect the picture on the map to people with struggles and triumphs. This class taught me to expand world view.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always make flashcards, no matter what.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course also included Model United Nations (MUN). Not only did we learn about current events and such, but we were able to apply that knowledge during weekend Conferences at other High Schools. Not to mention that my teacher, Ms. Anderson, was the best. She possesses a genuine passion for the MUN program, (given that she runs it) and she always goes above and beyond in helping us students do our best.

    Course highlights:

My teacher, Ms. Anderson, was extremely thorough in her teaching. She trained us to become the phenomenal MUN delegates that we are today! One of the most beneficial skills that she taught us was how to do efficient research. This is definitely going to help me in the long run, because many college courses are research-based.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!! Start your assignments once you receive them - especially when it comes to Conference Notebooks. Finish them early so that you don't have to pull all-nighters in order to get everything done. Having to rush on these does not help at all. And please do not start it the day that it's due, because you have to turn these things in before midnight.
