Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would highly recommend this class because it's not your average English class. If you're interested in challenges, I would recommend trying out the course. It gives insight on how to interpret different ways in which literature and poetry is written and for what purpose. Overall, the input of history and the arts also helps expand the horizon for understanding literature, and the novels and poetry we've read have been my favorite throughout high school.
I have learned how to interpret the meaning and reasoning behind literature, and even touched a little bit on the visual and musical arts. My teacher also came up with multiple creative ways to understanding literature and art, besides sticking to reading and annotating. he used games of Jeopardy, movies, group projects, speeches, and even our our visual interpretation of certain works of literature to help me and my fellow students broaden our understanding of a novel or poetry.

Advice for students:
Be prepared for reading independently, though the teacher will also switch up different ways to get through a book. Also, understand that your essay writing will always need improvement, therefore you will be writing a lot of essays through the course of the year. But do not fret! the teacher is very understanding in time management and allowing for his students "to be kids over the weekend!"
