    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Dieball is an excellent teacher who takes the time to explain the accounting process in a way which is interactive and informative. She is detail-oriented and always explains why the process is done in a specific manner as well as what the numbers mean and how they correlate to the big picture.

    Course highlights:

I have learned how to analyze transactions, the credit/debit system, how to prepare financial statements, and the importance of ethical business practice. There are pop quizzes once a week to test student's learning and how well they can apply the techniques they have learned. I have learned that I excel in accounting and would like to explore it as a career.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You must read the material before coming to class. Also it is important to listen in class and ask questions if the material does not make sense. Ms. Dieball is really good at explaining it until it makes sense. Students must allow at least 9 hour per week to complete the assigned homework. It is difficult, but if you apply yourself it can become really interesting and exciting.
