    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would have to say the highlight of this course was the genetics unit and the Amiba sisters videos.

    Hours per week:

Do you'r homework, pay attention in class, study and have fun with it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it's the science that covers the human body. Learning about one's body is highly interesting, and it's important to be able to understand how your body works. Additionally, the hands-on experiments were excellent.

    Course highlights:

For example, my class partook in a lab in which we dissected an owl pellet, uncovering the mouse bones inside. Then we proceeded to label and glue the bones on the back of a sheet of paper. This a great example of how we learned both, the vicious life cycle, and the skeletal structure of a mouse. However, the main reason was to show how we have similar bones to mice which suggests a common ancestor, long ago.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Retain as much information as possible. Biology is centered around remembering, and the best possible forms of studying for this subject, are notecards. Notecard with definitions and terms guided me throughout IB Biology and led me to an A grade, both semesters.
