Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
This was a great course! When I took AP Calc BC, it opened up a whole new understanding of math and physics concepts that I never thought about before. Mrs. Chowdhury is also a great teacher and makes complicated calculus concepts easy to understand.
Course highlights:
I hadn't taken Pre-Calculus or Calculus AB before this so this was pretty much my first introduction to calculus. I learned everything from basic limits, derivatives, and integrals, to Taylor Series approximations.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would really do homework on time because it helps to understand the concepts being taught. To study, I just reviewed my notes and homework. Mrs. Chowdhury's notes are pretty detailed, so redoing the questions in the notes was also very beneficial.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
It's a hard class, but the teacher's funny and nice.
Course highlights:
The teacher is really nice and understanding. He gave a lot of class time for homework and was lenient about doing work for other classes too.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Take this course if you like math or want to major in math or science. Take AP's you're passionate about.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I have to admit, it is a difficult class, but the teacher is funny and very understanding. He will try to boost your grade and help you learn the material as best as he can.
Course highlights:
Again, the teacher really made this course bearable. I learned more about my limits (as well as math limits haha) and actually got some work done in this class, so my procrastinating self was pretty thankful for that.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Definitely don't try to push yourself with this class just because it is the next level up or because it is AP. Take it only if you want to go into a math or science field or you just really enjoy math.
