This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I recommend this course because Ms. Chowdhury really prepared the whole class well for the AP test. No one scored below a 4 and most scored 5 on the test. Mr. Chowdhury is very knowledgeable and organized. It was an absolute pleasure to have her as my teacher.
Course highlights:
I have thoroughly understood the topic in Calc AB, not only the problem-solving procedures, but also the concepts. It lay for me a great foundation for Calc CD.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure to go over homework problems and notes before tests. Do the homework everyday, try to understand the concepts. Ask questions when she comes around. Do more practice problems in the book.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Mrs. Chowdhury is an excellent teacher and teaches quite lucidly
Course highlights:
Calculus becomes very useful in classes like AP Physics C, and any higher level STEM Courses
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Do the homework, Listen in class, and you'll be solid.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
This was a great course! When I took AP Calc BC, it opened up a whole new understanding of math and physics concepts that I never thought about before. Mrs. Chowdhury is also a great teacher and makes complicated calculus concepts easy to understand.
Course highlights:
I hadn't taken Pre-Calculus or Calculus AB before this so this was pretty much my first introduction to calculus. I learned everything from basic limits, derivatives, and integrals, to Taylor Series approximations.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would really do homework on time because it helps to understand the concepts being taught. To study, I just reviewed my notes and homework. Mrs. Chowdhury's notes are pretty detailed, so redoing the questions in the notes was also very beneficial.
