    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because Mr. Cornforth has made this course very interesting and fun. He designs activities that help me to get a better insight of specific time periods and events. It is one of those courses that you do not want to miss.

    Course highlights:

I have learned to analyze documents and graphic sources such as political cartoons. I also learned to write great document based essays and long essays, which are important for the AP test. By the end of the semester, almost everyone was able to memorize presidents in sequence and tell gave descriptions about them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the text books, do the flashcards and complete the study guides. Study the flashcards well for the quizzes, and when preparing for the test, study the study guide closely.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Students engage with the teacher and class through group projects and classroom discussions. The projects were fun with us creating a newspaper, and models of historical events for our final.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of US history, and the origins of the country, and went into some depth on all of the significant events that have occurred throughout the counties beginnings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete all of your homework and take good notes in class when the teacher lectures. Study the study guide he gives you for the test, which is basically the content that is on the tests or quizzes.
