    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Students engage with the teacher and class through group projects and classroom discussions. The projects were fun with us creating a newspaper, and models of historical events for our final.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of US history, and the origins of the country, and went into some depth on all of the significant events that have occurred throughout the counties beginnings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete all of your homework and take good notes in class when the teacher lectures. Study the study guide he gives you for the test, which is basically the content that is on the tests or quizzes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is very useful and introduces the American history from the colonial period to now. Mr. Cornforth is an excellent teacher, he makes the class fun and enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I did not only gain a thorough understanding of American history, but also learned how to collaborate with people since Mr. Cornforth encouraged us to communicate with classmates and to complete projects as a team.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend students to read the textbook, it is very important to complete the pages assigned everyday and do the homework, it is very helpful. Also, pay attention to the political cartoons showed during class, it is really helpful for the AP test if you know them.
