    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course will give you insight into common beliefs and symbols that have been with humanity for centuries. You will learn how myths help us understand our ties to the past, the world today, and ourselves.

    Course highlights:

I really liked reading the required text, "The Power of Myth" by Joseph Campbell. I enjoyed learning about the Moken Tribe of the coasts of Thailand. They spend more than half of their life in water.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To get the most out of the course, read the material. If you turn your papers in on time and participate in the discussions, you will get an A.
