    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love when we present our research papers. We research companies and how each company markers to their customers. We get to see the bad and good things of our companies. I love hearing about the businesses and what they do to get their customers to buy their products

    Course highlights:

I learned the value of listening to customers and finding innovative ways to market to consumers

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun. Remember to pick a company you hate. If you like the company, you will find yourself not digging into the research. Find a company you feel skeptical about. You will enjoy all the research time and find some interesting facts about the business mission and what their purpose is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. Most classes have limited practice/homework that focuses on the theory and understanding it for the test, whereas this course had a real world project enabling you to understand the theory, the put it into action, understanding how aspects must adapt or be worked on beyond the simple textbook classifications. It enabled insight into the different parts a marketing career could hold for someone, allowing you to have better understanding of if it would be a suitable job for you to pursue.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was the marketing project with a non-profit. There was that genuine experience into what marketing is. With this project you implement and take action on each topic you learn in class as you learn it: as we understood marketing research and target groups, we had to do outreach on what will lead to better success in our event (ie: we did likert scale surveys to determine our event planning, marketing plans, etc.)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you choose a good group and stay on top of communication/planning, don't assume you can do it last minute, treat it like you would a real job.
