Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course allows me to look at early literature very differently and very close; in which allows me to read more in depth on more modern novels.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was reading classic novels such as " The Scarlet Letter" in which we were able to learn on our own on how literature before the 1900's is not as different as modern novels in the sense that they all contain messages that convey a common theme.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write a lot of essays. She says that "you will write more essay than I can grade," which is a good thing because it will pay off later in the AP test because you will be able to analyze novels and excerpts with another point of view. Also she's nice :)

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it to those who enjoy classic literature. The class helps broaden students understanding of developing plots and character symbolism. The course also focuses on motifs and themes that can be applied to real life experiences.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make connections with different types of people regardless of social or political barriers. Each novel I analyzed in class taught me valuable lessons regarding the quality of life. I have learned to make my life experiences the best by prioritizing what truly matters.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should stay on top of their school work. They should also make sure that when they do fall behind it is best to make up the work as soon as possible to prevent the work load from becoming too overwhelming.
