Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Colglazier has an amazing knack for making history relevant and interesting. He's extremely approachable (and he's ALWAYS free to read essays, give test retakes, etc. etc.). His class is fun and laid back.

    Course highlights:

Colonization may be super boring, but analyzing Pocahontas isn't! Think the Civil War is a thing of the past? Think again! There many parallels between the Civil War and the Trump Administration.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advocate for yourself. Talk to Mr. Colglazier if you need help; he's always willing to help. Be smart about your time management. It's not a hard class unless you make it hard on yourself.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The information is taught in a very interesting way made to help you remember the information. The topics covered are both broad and deep and will help develop critical thinking and analysis skills. There are two major written papers and many group projects, but these are all very fun and have a great lead up.

    Course highlights:

Group activities are related and very helpful in learning the material. Many speakers were brought in to give a professional or first hand account of the subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading and do what you need to do to get the material. I didn't take notes but that is because of how well I learned in class. If he gives the "no credit quiz" option, still take it since it is a valuable learning tool.
